Will of Hezekiah RYMELL, late of Frome but now residing at Egford, Somerset
Proved at London 3 Feb 1823 at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, London, by William ASHMAN
…I hereby give devise and bequeath unto my son-in-law William ASHMAN… all my real and personal estate household goods and moneys in the funds and elsewhere for his sole and separate use and to his heirs and assigns for ever that is to say I give him my freehold lands hereditaments and premises… at Corsley in the parish of Frome Selwood also my leasehold estates at Elliott's green in the parish of Frome also my leasehold estate at Mells also my money in the three percent consolidated annuities transferable at the Bank of England together with all moneys in the and the house or elsewhere also money due or owing to me at my death the said William ASHMAN paying all my just debts and funeral expenses
and I do hereby make constitute and appoint the said William ASHMAN my sole executor…
in witness whereof I the said Hezekiah RYMELL have to this my last will contained on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this second day of November one thousand eight hundred and twenty two the mark and seal of Hezekiah RYMELL signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us and we in the presence of each other as the last will and testament of Hezekiah RYMELL by his desire. I Hezekiah RYMELL do hereby republish my said last will and testament and do hereby declare that it is my desire and intention that the said will and testament shall be good and valid to all intents and purposes as if the same had been this day originally made and published any act deed matter or thing whatsoever by me here before said committed or omitted to the contrary thereof in any ways notwithstanding in witness whereof I hereunto set and subscribe my hand and seal this twenty third day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two the mark and seal of Hezekiah RYMELL signed sealed and delivered by the said testator Hezekiah RYMELL in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses to the above all republication of this said last will and testament Robert ASHMAN John Green Samuel THEATE
